More than 150 National Police officers took part in a swoop to detain members of a gang running child migrants into Spain and other European countries from the Canary Islands.
A total of nine suspects have been arrested in simultaneous raids – seven in Alicante province and two in Murcia.
False passports were used to fly the minors to European destinations.
