The fire brigade’s mountain rescue team (GER) was mobilised yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon when a 38-year-old man suffered a fall on the Sierra de Bernia.
It was thought the man had fractured a hip in the accident on a high part of the mountain in Benissa municipality.
