BURGER King plans to open its first branch in Oliva – and will, in fact, be the first US-style fast-food joint in La Safor’s southernmost town.
One of the least-touristy coastal stretches in the area, Oliva is not known for being highly ‘commercial’ and its restaurants are small, family-run affairs rather than chains – at most, local cafés may have two or three branches within the same town.
But the panorama could be about to change with Burger King’s move to set up near L’Àncora Hotel at the entrance to Pau Pi beach.
