VALENCIA president Ximo Puig labelled the Vega Baja flood a ‘great catastrophe’.
Sr Puig stated on Wednesday that his coalition government will publish two emergency decrees, noting that the cost of the floods ‘will not be less than €1.5 billion’.
They will make ‘emergency aid grants’ available for affected residents ranging from €3,000 to €5,000.
