The respite from sweltering temperatures in the south of Alicante province and Murcia – that came with the arrival of a low pressure weather system earlier this week – appears a distant memory today (Friday) with another hot weekend in the offing.
The north of Alicante province has been placed on yellow alert for heat on Sunday between midday and 19.00, where temperatures could reach 36°C.
