Guardia Civil officers rescued a 67-year-old British woman ‘who was drowning’ in rough seas at Cala Ferrís in Torrevieja yesterday (Wednesday).
A spokesman for the force explained that they were alerted at 09.50, when beachgoers reported that there was a swimmer experiencing difficulties.
