SEPRONA officers from Monovar are investigating the president and coordinator of an Elda animal rescue association called ‘Asociación Defensora de los Animales (ADA)’ for the poor condition their dogs were found to be in during two inspections to the rescue’s premises in Sax.
Last November, SEPRONA officers were informed of the possible existence of a group dog trafficking at a national level, with a Russian breed known as Samoyeds. Officers were tipped off that the group could have been operating out of Mazarrón (Murcia).
