The regional government’s plan to control the population of carp in El Hondo natural park has been branded ‘completely insufficient’ by ecologists.
This invasive species of fish is spreading in the Levante and Poniente reservoirs, especially in the first of these where it has caused the aquatic ecosystem to collapse.
