Hola,
I was tickled by Chris Ashley’s ever-entertaining rambles. This was about the ban on longhaired hippy types arriving in Singapore during the 1970s, and either being shorn or sent on their way. It happened to me. All was well to start with my military short back and sides. But, as the weeks and months went by the hair got longer and more unkempt, (I was entering my happy hippy days). It was interesting to note how the local’s attitude changed from extreme politeness to complete disdain, particularly if you were dealing with bureaucracy. Eventually, I got cheesed off with being a non-person and adopted a full Kojak.
Keep up the good work with the new outlay.
