THE HUGE snowfall at the weekend in the Pyrenees was something to behold. Waking up on Sunday (April 1) with nearly half a metre of fresh snow on the ground was quite extraordinary. This means that walkers who want to experience a trek in the snow at a time when temperatures are climbing on the Costa – can do so without leaving Spain.
