The body of a woman, apparently the victim of a domestic violence incident, was found in the Axarquía town of La Viñuela late on Monday night. Police say the corpse displayed injuries compatible with her having been attacked with a knife. By Tuesday morning, a man had been detained in the municipality on suspicion of being responsible for her death.
