The government has reached an agreement with trade unions and industry groups for a 4% rise in the minimum wage for 2018. The boost to €10,302 a year will benefit over 530,000 workers. Officials said additional increases in 2019 and 2020, in order to reach €11,900, will be dependent on maintaining economic growth and job creation.
