The chief of Estepona’s fire-fighting brigade died in a paragliding accident in Cádiz last Saturday. Antonio García Ocón, a 42-year-old married father of one from San Pedro, was paragliding over the Bornos reservoir when the engine of the aircraft failed and it crashed in the water. It is thought Sr Ocón drowned as he was trapped upside down, but the cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
