Around 300 people attended a demonstration in Málaga at the weekend to protest plans to build a multi-storey hotel in the city’s port. Under the slogans “Defend our horizon” and “Málaga is not for sale,” ecologists and politicians were joined by architects and academics to argue against the project. Intense campaigning on social networks has brought the issue to public attention.
