Parents’ associations at Benalmádena’s Al-Baytar, Cerro del Viento and Poetas Andaluces secondary schools have begun collecting signatures in protest against a lack of maths teachers, and have also sent letters to the Junta de Andalucía’s education department calling on vacancies to be filled. Almost twenty classes at the schools have been without maths teachers since the start of the term. On Friday, the Junta published a new callout for applicants to fill positions, on the BOJA official bulletin.
