Catalan president Carles Puigdemont has replied evasively to central government’s demand for a straight answer over whether or not he declared independency last week.
The reply received this morning does not reply the question, claims Cataluña is suffering ‘repression’ and negociations.
According to the demand made by PM, who is has not yet delivered a statement on this reply, if Sr Puigdemont ‘fails to answer the request’ he has until Thursday to rectify.
