Local and provincial government officials at the weekend inaugurated the fully refurbished El Santo trail in Pizarra, a 5.9-kilometre round-trip hike to the town’s hilltop El Santo Statue. It is the final phase of an €11,500 project that also saw the creation of two new trails, between Pizarra and its Cerralba district and between Cerralba and Zalea.
