Police have smashed a major gang dedicated to selling and importing performance-enhancing drugs.
A total of 41 people were arrested in the operation carried out by the Guardia Civil, who raided 45 homes and business premises in Almería, Málaga, Madrid, Toledo, Barcelona, Tarragona, the Canaries, the Balearic Islands and Huelva.
Two people were arrested in Almería and four in Málaga. Among those detained are a number of professional body builders who have national and international titles under their belts, including a European champion in Barcelona.
