The A&E department at Málaga’s Carlos Haya Hospital is in a “catastrophic and lamentable” condition, according to the Málága Medical Syndicate. It claims that a large area refurbished for emergency use has been ready since October 2016, but is presently being used for storage. The hospital responded by saying a project to reform the area is expected to be put out to tender soon.
