ÁNGELES Muñoz of the Partido Popular is set to retake the reins as mayor of Marbella when an ouster vote against socialist PSOE mayor José Bernal takes place next Tuesday, August 29.
The centre-right PP and the independent Opción Sampedreña (OSP) party last week announced the ouster vote after the OSP’s two councillors, who currently form part of the PSOE-led tripartite government along with left-wing Izquierda Unida, decided to break ranks and form a government with the PP.
