The summer of travel disruption is continuing following the failure of security staff at Barcelona El Prat airport to accept a second deal to end their industrial action. In addition, there is unrest at other airports and on the rail network.
Rail travellers on Renfe’s AVE and long-distance services will also be suffering in coming days as service staff start five consecutive days of action in protest at their pay and conditions.
