Businesses in Rincón de la Victoria have asked the town hall to pedestrianise the central area, at least at weekends. Their Association has suggested a pilot scheme which would see traffic banned from Friday evening to Sunday in streets such as Granada, Córdoba, Ronda and Comercio. Mayor Francisco Salado has previously suggested applying for European funds for a pedestrianisation project.
