Employees of Urbaser, the private company responsible for Fuengirola’s rubbish collection service and street cleaning in the Los Boliches area, announced on Saturday that they plan to go on strike in the town next month in a row over workplace rights. Fuengirola town hall said they were ‘on alert’ with regards to the situation, and its potenital implications, and added they hoped the conflict is resolved as soon as possible.
