Despite opposition, this 24-hour petrol station opened.
The Valencia government passed a law that they should be manned seven days a week, 9am to 9pm. No one is ever on on a Sunday at all, therefore no fire extinguishers out.
No one comes till 9am, but leaves at 8pm, when the fire extinguishers are taken in.
When the petrol tanker comes to fill the tank, it’s a fiasco. The drivers have to back in and out several times as the street isn’t wide enough for the manoeuvre.
Mobile phones are used by the staff and customers alike – no notices up stopping their use when filling your car. It’s a disaster waiting to happen and it’s time the authorities looked into it.
