A British fugitive wanted in relation to a drug trafficking investigation is believed to have swum from Spain to Gibraltar to turn himself in after he was featured on a Crimewatch appeal.
On Monday night of last week Jason Waterman, 32, arrived in Gibraltar “without warning, dripping salt water and carrying a small bag of wet clothing”, said the UK’s National Crime Agency.
