The regional government has given approval for the redevelopment of Málaga’s Alameda Principal. The city was asked to take archaeological soundings to prevent damage to remains which may lie below the surface in the historical area. The cost of the €11 million project is to be shared between the city and the Junta de Andalucía and work is expected to start this year.
