A thief or thieves broke into a new archaeological museum scheduled to open soon in Campillos and stole part of the collection, taking over 300 coins and around 100 other artefacts. The overnight robbery happened last month but was revealed just last week. The Guardia Civil are investigating. The family that owns the collection called the value of the stolen items “incalculable”.
