The Fuente del Rey aqueduct in Alhaurín de la Torre is to be listed as a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC) by the Junta de Andalucía, which has already started processing the documentation. The Junta’s provincial Culture delegate Monsalud Bautista called the 18th-century structure, which runs between Alhaurín and the Málaga airport area, a “spectacular work of engineering”.
