Local police from Almuñécar were joined by three Guardia Civil patrols to stop a car being driven on the wrong carriageway of the A-7 late last Saturday. The 45-year-old driver was described by officers as being “very drunk.” It was established he had travelled 14 kilometres on the wrong side of the motorway, passing through four tunnels along the way.
