Owners of the nearly 400 chiringuito bars, restaurants and kiosks along the province’s beaches are set to invest a total of €100 million on upgrades, modernisation and other changes as their new operating licences are issued, 75% of which have been approved or are in process, said officials during last week’s ExpoPlaya fair in Torremolinos. Works are expected to begin in November and December.
