A 30-year-old man charged with the murder of his former girlfriend had a string of previous convictions for violence as well as four restraining orders against ex-partners, it has emerged.
The body of the victim, identified as 33-year-old Antonia G.A., was found at her home last Sunday (January 15) in Húercal de Almería. There were “obvious signs of violence” on the body according to the police, who quickly arrested her ex-partner in connection with the crime. It has also emerged that he had been on the run from the authorities since July.
