Málaga’s provincial government will begin work on a new €140,000 access bridge to Benaoján’s Cuevas del Gato caves next summer. The project was revealed following a recent meeting between the Diputación, the Junta de Andalucía and Benaoján town hall officials to discuss access to the site. The old wooden bridge was destroyed during heavy rain seven years ago, and was only repaired provisionally.
