Six months after Andalucía introduced its new law on holiday rentals, which requires owners to register their rental properties, Málaga province has a total of 26,321 beds legally on offer in such properties, representing some 30% of all tourism accommodations in the province. In all there have been 10,000 applications to register properties, with 5,320 so far having completed the process.
