Málaga is to start fining bars up to €60,000 if their customers are allowed to drink in the street. Local police have been warning bar owners of the pending full implementation of a by-law which until now has only imposed the minimum fine of €301. Any bar which has already been fined three times will be fined €24,001, increasing by €3,000 on each subsequent sanction.
