People who have a vehicle registered in Mijas that is 25 years or older will be automatically exempted from paying the annual IVTM motor vehicle tax beginning next year, said the town hall last week. The exemption has previously been available but required an application process. Now the town hall will simply notify the owner of such vehicles that they need not pay the tax.
