Work has started on construction of a new approach road to the Hospital Comarcal in Vélez-Málaga. The €940,000 project will provide a new route from avenida Juan Carlos I, by-passing El Tomillar urbanisation and reducing congestion on calle Lagunas de Campillos. The 790 metre road will include a pedestrian pavement and cycle lane and is expected to be open in about five months.
