Circuses featuring performing wild animals are set to be banned from Mojacar following a motion put forward in a recent council plenary meeting.
Opposition group Somos Mojacar put forward the motion which received a unanimous vote in favour. The motion had to be amended as the original wording included the use of animals in all types of show or exhibition.
