THE DEATH of a 19-year-old Dutch man on the Cami de la Mar road has rekindled the controversy over the armadillo-shapped dividers, that have been blamed for the accident.
Local residents and motorists have repeatedly complained about the bike-lane divider, claiming that the angle makes it extremely dangerous for oncoming traffic, and sadly those concerns have been justified.
The road tragedy resulting in the death of the young Dutch man has left Alfaz inconsolable.
