A team from the Axarquía is at an important tourism fair in Paris this week promoting the area to tour operators and sector professionals. French tourists account for only 8.9% of visitors to the Axarquía, compared with the 11.4% of Germans and the 19.3% from the UK. The team has been highlighting the area’s gastronomy and culture, as well as its popular attractions and locations.
