National police in Ronda arrested a couple on suspicion of committing five robberies with violence or intimidation in the town on September 3. According to the police the pair, a 23-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, approached their victims holding hands before asking for the time or directions. The man would then either threaten the victim with a knife before stealing from them, or grab their bag, with one of their victims requiring medical attention.
