A man, 30, who allegedly hit a local police officer with his motorcycle after being pulled over while carrying contraband cigarettes in La Línea de la Concepción has been arrested and remanded in custody. The incident, which left the officer with a broken leg, happened on August 18. The man got away, but an investigation led to his arrest, said police last week.
