A drunken female driver who travelled for 17 kilometres in the wrong direction on the motorway has been detained by the Guardia Civil.
The 47-year-old Ecuadorian was driving a white Ford Focus on the A-33 in Murcia in the early morning of Sunday.
According to a Guardia Civil spokesman, she encountered other vehicles en route – but they all had managed to dodge her car.
