Dear Sirs,
With reference to your email ‘Passport renewal’, in issue 2190, I recently had to renew my passport and the thought filled me with dread! I am not good with computers or the internet, but to my amazement, the whole process went through quickly and easily, including payment with my Spanish debit card. I posted the application with recorded delivery and received my new passport in only two weeks!
I think your correspondent must have been particularly unlucky, but I am more than satisfied with the application system.
