The availability of the morning-after pill is cited as the main reason behind a drop in the number of abortions carried out in the province of Málaga. The Spanish Contraception Society, holding its 13th congress in the city last week, heard that the number of terminations in 2014 was 13% down on the previous year. The equivalent fall across the whole of Andalucía was 10%.
