Pre-Easter processions were held in the Málaga suburbs of El Palo and Pedregalejo on Saturday. Heavy and persistent rain did not deter the penitents who followed the thrones along their planned routes. The main processions in the city and across Spain will begin on March 20, which is Palm Sunday.
