THE REGIONAL government has explained how town halls in Alicante can join its plan to help people in poverty pay their utility bills and rent.
This housing department scheme has a total budget of €5.9 million.
The director general for housing, Alberto Sanchis, encouraged councils to collaborate so this aid can reach as many people as possible.
So far, 212 town halls in the region have signed up to the plan.
