EXCESS stock and lack of foreign investment are said to be severely holding back the recovery of the building trade in Castellón province.
Property sales currently sit at one third of the figure registered during the boom time, with 80% involving second-hand houses.
Between January and September 2015, just over 4,500 purchase operations were carried out in the province.
This figure constitutes a 13% rise with regards to the same period in 2014, but is still far from constituting a recovery of the sector as merely 18% of those deals involved new builds.
