Some 60 parents in the Riviera del Sol, Miraflores and Calahonda urbanisations in Mijas have signed a petition requesting a school bus to serve the northern zones. The current school bus stops in lower Riviera, and parents say families are forced to either walk their children up to 45 minutes to school or pay for a taxi.
