Scores of last-minute Christmas shoppers driving on the A-7 in the direction of Málaga last Wednesday, December 23, were stuck in a traffic jam that caused six kilometres of back-ups. A pile-up involving five cars and a van at 6.30pm near the Cuesta del Higuerón in Fuengirola, in which no-one was injured, caused the delay.
